Yet in a disaster such as this, we organize, mobilize, donate and provide. Wouldn’t it be great if we all did the same thing for those down on their luck like this lady simply resting for a bit on the bench? I’m very fortunate to live in a place where, when someone calls the police about a homeless person, the police response is to help that person locate appropriate local resources to help.
