Type 1 Diabetes shirt is not a death sentence, it just means we have to live life a little stronger. As a retired professional counselor who specialized in working with people and families with type one – and as a person who also has type one herself, I have to say “thank you!” This needed to be said and has been long overdue! I agree. People and doctors do blame the diabetic if they are not doing well. That’s very unfair because there are plenty of reasons a person with Diabetes is not doing well examples may be other illness, other meds, stress… Its not always the persons fault..but the diabetic always gets blamed. You wouldn’t blame a person with cancer or any other chronic illness for being sick. So they should not blame the diabetic.
