I really appreciated this post. I’m one who has no career nor a Budweiser and watch my team beat your team’s ass shirt, raised two kids and a husband, and that has been my accomplishment’ in life. I have no real special talents, but I do notice people in distress, and I do come alongside them. I consider myself a drop in a smooth glassy lake, causing a ripple that goes on to affect the whole lake with actions that are kind. I’m not always kind, but I do notice the ones who are broken and in need, and zone in on those people. I love to seed hope and comfort and peace into their souls. It doesn’t always seem like I’m doing very much at all, but when you look at the ‘big picture’ it is sometimes that one small kindness that is pivotal in someone’s life.
