We all need people in our lives who remind us of Merry Antichristmas Satan Claus shirt, sweater. Some more than others. I’m slowly learning that this is alright. It is O.K. to ask for help. I may not always be able to do the things that I want to do, the way I want to do them. I may not always look the way I want to, wear the clothes or shoes that I want to wear or move the way I wish I could move. But this is O.K. I have taken the hand I’ve been dealt and I’m trying to make the best of it. This summer, I’ll have a graduate degree, licenses in Reading Specialty, teaching English as a Second Language, and Special Education.
