I think the five year gap was a good idea with Marvel Avengers endgame character signature shirt. The rest of the movie showcases more seasoned and hardened avengers. Also, I feel obliged to note that Thor’s story resembles that of Robert Baratheon from GOT quite a lot. He goes from being this handsome clean-shaven hunk to a drunken oaf once he defeats the enemy. His enemy on the other hand (Rhaegar/Thanos), although died, ended up winning in some sort of way.
