What if your hero is someone who forgets to Tiger in a pocket shirt, struggles with algebra, and is known to trip when she runs too fast? I don’t know but something tells me we would be in a good place, a better place, a place where the whole world could breathe easier. But as I watched the two girls interact last night, I decided there is nothing extraordinary going on here. They are simply seeing each other valuing each other loving each other beyond the outer surface to the inner core. And what makes a perfect hero for an 11-year-old girl makes a perfect hero for all of us.
