Today you might not get any closer to Pikapool gotta kill ’em all I shirt. You may not get the relief that comes with knowing why or the peace that comes with gaining clarity. You may get deafening silence when you look into faces that are supposed to have the answers and that will be hard.  Here’s what I’ve been doing lately when uncertainty keeps me from sleeping and thinking positively and being at peace: I ground myself in love. I listen to the steady breathing in the bed next to me at 11:06 pm. I watch the door of the bus at 4:36 pm so I can see my middle schooler smile at me.
