People have the right to protest but you don’t mess with the flag. New York Giants lips shut the fuck up shirt to protest however you’d like. You don’t get to dictate a protest method bc you don’t agree. That’s not how freedom works. A lot of people in the stands stuffing their pie holes and talking on their cellphones and fortunately in America, we are free to do that. As a Veteran, I prefer to stand at attention with my right hand on my heart and sing the anthem as loud as I can to drown out the folks chattering on their cellphones. Nobody swore an oath to the flag, nor is anyone disrespecting it. If you still do not understand why they kneel, don’t turn the game on until after kick off.
