In this photo the sharks are using one of their sensory systems, the Shark plastic is the real killer shirt to obtain more sensory information about a novel item in their environment. In this case the object was a piece of plastic drifting by which is unfortunately something we see on our dives on a regular basis. We fight for people to use reusable ones or go without if they are able. We fight for restaurants to use an alternative plastic. Just a simple signature from you might just be able to make the ocean a little better place for all that rely on it!
