Yulin is here and it’s very upsetting for us to see. I’m a simple woman I like beer and dog shirt because it would break my heart. I love dogs so much. But I can’t help also thinking about the other millions of animals who suffer horrendously and die every day to go on our dinner plates? We enjoy having dogs in our families and know they feel love, pain, loneliness, fear, anxiety. We know how much they will be suffering in these horrific conditions. I hate to see it and it makes me cry – hard. But I also hate that for so many years I was completely blind to the fact that animals on my dinner plate would also have felt those emotions. Cows, sheep, pigs, chickens.
