Interesting question. If the Jesus cross it’s heavy huh Avengers superhero shirt and was crucified, the wood of the cross would have been a cheap, common wood found in the area. It's possible the wood was recycled from a building or that it was first made to be a cross. Wood was recycled even then, so Jesus's cross may have been the same cross used to crucify others both before and after him.
