It was a joyous thing for all of them, and a precious keepsake for him. If you have the opportunity, having a family member asking questions like this of grandparents and videotaping the interview becomes an heirloom. Capturing voices and mannerisms are priceless. These are lovely. As part of the lesson, we are going to invite some older people to our school. These would make great conversation questions for the children. There’s a person in this building whom I’ve been thinking about doing this with. He is fighting cancer and has had a life he keeps repeating.
