Today I’m doing nothing shirt. I’ve been a local public servant since 2005, tell me about it. Government wages and employment have not recovered from the 2008 crash like the public sector has. And what these folks don’t understand is that raising wages is a much better way to strengthen the economy than tax cuts. If all those people they hate because they receive public assistance could actually earn a living wage, tax money that is collected could be put to better use. the hypocrisy is mind boggling.
