The alarm went off startling me out of an Official Binge Tongue shirt. It was four in the morning and I almost felt the familiar feeling of dread that came with the thought of having to wake up when my body was just beginning to relax after hours of struggling with insomnia. I wished to meet whoever created the work system and made sure that everything operational had to start in the early hours of the morning so I could ask him the simple question, “Why?”. I could never get used to waking up this early even though I had been doing it for the past seven years, it still seemed so unnatural. Of – course, it did not help that I struggled to fall asleep and stay asleep on most nights. It had gotten worse in the last two years.
